Search:

Failures, error detections and error responses without effects and causes

Explanation:

A search will be performed for failures, error detections and error responses, which have neither effects nor causes in the failure net

Example:

  • This example structure contains three structure elements, each of which have two failures (failure) assigned and one structure element reserved as a safety mechanism, of which contains three error detections ( ) and three error responses ( ).
  • With the hot-click icon “Failure net” active (display options), it is possible to see in the structure list which failures and safety mechanismy are linked and which are not. How the failures are linked can be seen in either the Failure Net Editor or the Graph Editor.
  • This Quality Rule will find all failures and safety mechanisms that have neither effects nor causes in the failure net and can be recognized with the icon Failure net unfilled.
