Search:

Unfinished actions

Explanation:

A search will be made for actions which are either “untouched”, “in progress”, or “under consideration”.

Example:

Example A: 004_setting-1

004_SE_setting-1

  • In the above structure, with the following setting 004_setting-1 selected when the document was created, are nine preventive actions (PA; Hot-click icon preventive action) and two detection actions (DA; Hot-click icon detection action) anchored at various failures.  PA1 occurs three times.
  • In the IQ-Software, each action (when linked with a failure) is assigned a standard deadline status. You can define the default status in the document settings. Deadlines can be assigned five possible states. In this example, all five states are used.
  • One of the failures (with actions assigned) is not yet in a failure net. These actions will also be considered in the search.

The results depend on the document setting “Initial state must have a deadline”! The document setting “Initial state must have responsible” does not play a role in this search!

Seven PA’s and one DA, with states: “untouched”, “under consideration” or “in progress” are found in this search. At BF1: PA1 and PA2 (initial state) and PA5, PA9 and PA1 (revision state). At F1: PA10 and at F3: DA8.

Example B: 004-setting-2

004_SE_setting-2

  • The structure list looks different with the following setting inactive: 004-setting-2.
  • This significantly affects the hits found in this Quality Rule.

Search results: Search results

With the above setting inactive, only five actions are considered in this search. From these three are hits: Preventive actions PA5PA9 and PA1.
