Incorrectly linked functions and characteristics of base elements

Explanation:

A search will be performed for functions and characteristics anchored at base elements, which are linked to functions or characteristics in the direction of causes.
Note: structure-spanning function net links will not be considered in this search

Note:

  • A base element is a structure element, which has no further structure elements in direction of causes (i.e. to the right)

Example:

  • This structure consists of four system elements (system element), each of which have a different amount of functions (function), product characteristics (Product characteristic) and process characteristics (Process characteristic) assigned. Of these four system elements BSE1 and SE2 are base elements, as no further system elements follow in the direction of causes.
  • With the display option hot-click icon “Function net” active, it is possible to see which functions and characteristics are linked in a function net.
  • If a function or characteristic is linked to further elements in the direction of causes it either has the icon (function net both) or (function net right). Functions or characteristics anchored at base elements with this icon will be identified with the Quality Rule.

There are two functions, anchored at base element SE2, and one characteristic, anchored at BSE1 that are linked to further elements in the direction of causes. These are IQ objects Fn3, Fn4 and PrcC2.
