After starting the software by double clicking, you can enter the session number, which you receive from your APIS host.

Technical Information

Security measures (e.g. Firewalls) may prevent you from establishing connection. PCVisit 10.0 uses following servers / ports (Information of pcvisit Software AG; state: January 2013):

• 443
• 80

Proxy server

Usually, pcvisit uses the proxy configuration of Internet Explorer (IE).
If IE’s connection configuration is linked via text file, a valid proxy server has to be looked up manually and set within pcvisit software.

If pcvisit software cannot establish a connection successfully, a proxy dialog appears, at which the proxy server has to be set. Both host and remote host can set a proxy within settings at the tab “connection”.
