CTI ISO 26262 conference in Tokyo

APIS Informationstechnologien GmbH was one of the exhibiting companies at this year’s CTI Conference “ISO 26262 Japan” and gave an expert lecture on the subject of Functional Safety. Before and after the conference, companies in Korea and Japan were visited.

The participants discussed the standard ISO 26262, its implementation, dos and don’ts as well as possible modifications of the standard in the future. The keynote was presented by Nissan’s Functional Safety expert Shuhei Yanashita.

Many of the visitors of the conference from Japan, India, Malaysia, China und Korea and other countries told the APIS representative, that they know the APIS IQ-Software and use it successfully in the field of FMEA.


ISO 26262 – APIS meets high demands


All in all, everyone is aware of the fact that the APIS IQ software already complies with the high standards set in the ISO 26262, such as e.g. the creation of fault trees and the determination of the minimal cut set, including the option of export into the XLS format.


Lecture finds great response


The APIS lecture held on the subject of “Successful Implementation of a Productive Software System for Functional Safety Management at a Tier One Supplier” (Continental) was well received and attended with great interest by the FMEA experts. They widely recognized in particular the fact that the APIS IQ-Software provides relevant functionalities in the fields of SPFM, LFM, DC, FMEDA, and SN29500.
